2007

 

 

Die Entweihung project was found in may, 2007. Since may until september it was written some stuff, and during this time some demos songs were recorded. As a result - “Demo 2007”, first demo work, that was distributed in the internet only for free downloading. Demo included 6 compositions (26 minutes). Although this demo's quality was very low, the material's got many good reviews. In noveber 2nd demo “The Last Nail” was recorded, and was released on russian label Satanarsa Records, as pro – cdr (300 copies).

 

 

2008

 

 

In the beginning of january, the recording work on the first album “Desecration” has begun. The album was recorded at the same home studio, however the general sound quality was more better. As a result – 6 compositions (44 minutes), amongst them 3 new songs, 2 new arranged ones from the first demo, and cover version for russian sympho – black band “Sinful”. In february the album has released on the same Satanarsa Records as pro cdr (300 copies). In may russian experimental music label Brush has released the first demo with 4 bonuses, that were recorded specially for this edition (50 copies). In august the 2nd album “Hypnotic Dreams” was ready, and since this album Die Entweihung began a different experiences with another genres, a guitar rawness always stays although. The first edition of “Hypnotic Dreams” was on australian Smell The Stench label as cdr (unlimited copies), and 2nd edition was on Satanarsa Records as pro cdr (300 copies).

 

 

2009

 

 

The year has passed in recording of the next full length album “The Hallucinations”, the writing and recording process was going slowly because of staying of musician in damned military service of Israel.

 

 

2010

 

 

«The Hallucinations” album was presented in march of 2010 on canadian label of experimental music Brise Cul Records, limited edition of 80 copies. In the second half of 2010, the Dark Front label (Russia) has released tape limited edition (50 copies) of two albums together (The Hallucinations/Hypnotic Dreams)

 

 

2011

 

 

In february “The Hallucinations” were released as pro CD (500 copies) on russian label Nihil Art Records. This album is the most difficult for understanding and the titled track is the longest one of Die Entweihung. In the middle of the year, the new album “At The Bottom” was recorded, the music became more melodic and understandable, the sound has changed, the lyrics are on russian again.

 

 

2012

 

 

In the beginning of the year, there was signed a deal with italian label This Winter Will Last Forever, for CD release and digital distribution, however CDs weren't released (For today, the album is staying not available on CDs,). Since the 2nd album recording, there was some ideas about recording some electro stuff in vein of ambient and classical music. In autumn of 2012 the “5 circles of loneliness” album was recorded finally, the stuff was composed during only one month, but included a couple of compositions that were composed a long time before. The album has released as cdr in dvd case on russian label Cvlminis as limited edition of 33 copies.

 

 

2013

 

 

Sixth album “The Cage” was recorded. It's sounding in vein of “At The Bottom” album but with more guitar parts and less keyboards. In may the first tape version has released by russian label Chupacabra (Sub label of Hell Division Prods), limited edition of 200 copies. At the same time Metal Throne Prods has released the tape edition of “At The Bottom”, limited edition of 50 copies. In july US label Acephale Winter Prods has released “The Cage” as tape edition of 50 copies with another artwork + digital distribution.

 

 

2014

 

 

 In april EP "One Shot In April", dedicated to memory of Nirvana's leader Kurt Cobain, was released by Zombie Records. Limited to 100 tape copies.

In may, "The Cage" album was released as PRO CDr by german label No Sleep Till Megiddo Records, its booklet contains, instead of russian lyrics, english translated lyrics (as this edition was released, mainly, for the non russian listeners). Beside of it, CD contains multimedia part with video for the titled track, made by russian marginal Stan Absurdovv. Limited to 50 copies. 

In july, 15, Ian Curtis' (cult Joy Division singer) birthday, it was released first Die Entweihung's tribute album, that contains 9 Joy Division cover versions in trademark style of Die Entweihung. 50 tapes were released by american label Acephale Winter Prods.

 

 

2015

 

 

In the beginning of the year, it was almost finished the newest album (first full length new album since "The Cage" album), "Neverending Terrorism", on which we have a great changes, in the both musical and lyrical themes. For the first time, since "The Hallucinations" album, all the lyrics are in english language again, lyrical themes now are about modern world and its reality. Musically, this album moved far away from Black Metal, now the style can be described as Melodic Dark Metal, with influences of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. In the summer Die Entweihung's author gave start to his own label - Zombie Records Israhell Division, as subdivision of russian Zombie Records in Israel. In september, at the same time there were released two Die Entweihung's albums on PRO CD: reedition of "The Cage" album, with 6 pages booklet, in which russian lyrics is together with their english translation, and new "Neverending Terrorism" album, too. Every album is limited to 500 copies. "The Cage" is released as the joint CD by Zombie Records and Zombie Records Israhell Division, "Neverending Terrorism" is released by Zombie Records Israhell Division, official distribution is by Zombie Records (for Russia and CIS countries) and Acephale Winter Prods (for USA).

 

 

 2016

 

 

The year has begun with recording the cover version of one of the DORO's songs (Long Lost For Love), for russian tribute to DORO (planned to be released in 2017). In may first ever Die Entweihung's T Shirts were printed (released by our Zombie Records Israhell Division label), with "Neverending Terrorism" art, limited to only 20 pieces (printed by this company in Russia). In september 4th album, "At The Bottom" was released as Pro CDr with six pages booklet, containing original russian lyrics and their english translations, (for the first time!). Limited to 100 copies, this edition became available by great german label "Wolfmond Pruction". During all the year, there were slightly remastered almost all the previous albums (including released "At The Bottom", that has slightly remastered sound) + all this time Die Entweihung is working on the new album.

 

 

2017

 

 

During the first months of the year the new album was recorded. Some tracks feature ukulele and bouzouki. The album was titled "The Worst Is Yet To Come", and included 8 new songs + cover for "Long Lost For Love" by Doro, recorded 1 year before.

 

 

2018

 

 

After long work on the album, the new label searching and the design finishing, finally the album was released in september, 2018, as Pro CD, limited to 500 copies, by two russian labels More Hate Prods & Wings Of Destruction. In addition, philippine label Thresthold  Records released DIY CDr, limited to 50 copies, with b/w 4 pages booklet in slim case, at the same time US label Arctic Ritual Records released the tape edition, first run of which contains 5 regular copies and 5 special edition tapes with additional formalization. Also the new album has the digital release via official DIE ENTWEIHUNG bandcamp page, that was started a couple of months before the album release.
